You can use large or small marshmallows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you add the marshmallows to the pot, you should notice them beginning to melt in no time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add around two small tablespoons of water to the pot, to help to keep the marshmallows from becoming too thick and pasty and they melt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to create a specific flavor or color from your marshmallows, then this is the time to add your flavoring or coloring, as you will be able to most easily mix the marshmallows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eventually, you will also want to reduce the heat on your stove to &lsquo;Low&rsquo;, as this keeps the melted marshmallows from becoming burnt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this point, you will want to mix in a few more drops of water, as this helps to keep the mixture from getting too thick and being more at risk of burning or drying out.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Using Your Oven<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to freeze up your stove top for other food as you cook, then you can also make use of your oven to melt the marshmallows.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To use your oven, you will want to start by heating up your oven to around 450 degrees Fahrenheit and grabbing an oven-safe dish of some kind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leave the dish in the oven for some time, to allow it to heat up to just the right temperature before adding your marshmallows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the dish heats up, start chopping your marshmallows in half, along the curved sides.
